How to hide specific folders within the End User Portal
There might be the need to hide specific folders from being displayed to a user in the End User Portal even though based on permissions, they do have access. This article will show how to hide these folders.
This process requires elevated permissions to the HubStor Admin Portal.
Once in the portal, browse to the Administration section.
On the left pane, choose the Stor that contains the data which will be hidden.
Under the section 'End User Portal Hidden Locations', browse to the folder that should be hidden. Once locations are added to this list they will no longer be
displayed to end-users during browsing, nor will end-users receive search
results from those locations (or any descendants).
Note that there is a
cache at work here, so changes may take up to two minutes to take effect.
