How to Define Item Types in HubStor
Each Stor has a metadata configuration where you can define the item type groupings.

To view or modify a Stor's item type configuration, follow these steps:
Click the 'Administration' tab and select the desired Stor in your configuration. After clicking a Stor, click on the 'Metadata' tab.
Step 2 -- Expand Item Types
Click the expand arrow next to 'ItemType
' to see the Stor's current item type settings.
Step 3 -- Edit Item Types
Either click the edit icon to modify an existing item type grouping, or click 'Add Bucket' to create a new grouping.
This will display the properties window. Here you need to provide a label for the bucket and specific value(s).
: For item types, the bucket type is always a specific value.
To set one or more specific values, click the 'Add Specific Value'
This will display the window for selecting a value you wish to add. Add
any file extension preceded with the dot (e.g. '.xyz'). As you type,
you'll see an auto-fill feature that includes all of the file extensions
from the data presently archived.

Repeat to add more file extensions to the item type grouping.
When finished, click 'Apply
' on the Bucket Properties window.
Make sure to click 'Apply
' again to save the item type grouping.

Saving / Loading Item Type Templates
Your item types configuration can be saved by clicking the 'Save As Template' button. If your HubStor configuration has multiple Stors, you can optionally 'Load From Template', and if desired modify the template and save a new variation of it.
